René de Saint-Delis never wanted to show his paintings afraid that they may fall into the hands of profiteers. He chose a modest but wholesome life, orientated himself towards art and it’s forms, and lived solely for painting…until his death in 1958.
"It was the good times... on sunny summer days, we would be joined by Dufy and other artists and all go off together to paint... all day long... we would paint".
